Rental Terms

Our prices include:

• Unlimited km, for more than 7 day rentals. (For rentals up to 7 days, we provide free 150 km per day. From there and above there is an additional charge of 0.12€/km.)

Driver:
Minimum age for all rentals is 21 years old.

Required documents

• Valid driver’s license for all declared drivers
• International driver’s license if required (please read the below paragraph “Driver’s License”)
• Passport or National ID for all declared drivers.

All the booking details (online or phone booking) must be valid. Our company declares the right to refuse the rental if the booking details are not valid.

Driving License:
The driving license must be issued at least one year before the pick-up date.
National driving licenses issued in the EU, the USA, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, the UAE, Israel, Russia or Ukraine are accepted.
Citizens of all other countries must have a valid International Driver’s License along with their regular Driver’s License.

Bookings and Vehicle Groups
All reservations are based on vehicle groups and not on a specific vehicle model. We try to assign to each reservation the chosen vehicle model. However, if the chosen model becomes unavailable, our company reserves the right to offer a similar model. A similar model will be a vehicle in the same group – category as the chosen model. Also, our company reserves the right to offer a model of a bigger group – category with no extra charge (free upgrade).

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Deposit Amount:
The deposit can be paid online from our website with credit, debit, and prepaid cards.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners & Discover.

Balance Amount:
The remaining amount will be paid when you pick up the vehicle with cash, credit, debit, or prepaid cards.

Warranty amounts – Security Deposit for all vehicles
The security deposit amount depends on the chosen insurance package. When picking up the vehicle, the driver must have a credit or debit card, which will be used for the security deposit. The amount of the security deposit will be reserved from this card. This amount will no longer be available for immediate use on your card. This amount will be returned in full at the end of the rental as long as no other charges arise. The release time of the amount depends on the issuing bank of the card and not on our company. We release the security deposit amount immediately at the end of the rental.

Alternatively, cash can be used for the security deposit amount.

Cancellation Policy:
If you wish to cancel your reservation, you have to send a cancellation notice email and receive an answer that we received your cancellation notice.

There is no cancellation fee if we receive the cancellation notice up to 20 days before the due pick-up date and time.

If the car rental reservation is canceled within 19 days prior to the booking date, the full deposit amount will be charged.

No-Show Policy:
If the renter fails to collect the vehicle within 2 hours of the agreed rental start date and time without any written update, the reservation may be automatically canceled, and the total booking amount will be charged.

Booking Length and Charges:
The minimum booking length is a few hours, and the minimum rental charge is one day. Extra charges will apply if the renter returns the vehicle later than the agreed time.

Rental extension:
If the renter wishes to extend the rental period, he should contact our company as soon as possible. If there is availability, the extension of the rental will be noted in the Rental Agreement, along with the corresponding fee. If there is no availability, the renter must return the vehicle on the agreed date and time.

Fuel Policy:
The renter must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as delivered. If the return fuel level is less, he will be charged the difference. If the return fuel level is more there is no money return.

Traffic fines or other administrative sanctions:
The renter must pay traffic fines or any administrative sanctions that may result from any violation of the Greek Traffic Law. The renter can pay the fines in cash or with a credit card. If any fine becomes required after the rental period, our company will charge the renter’s credit card the amount of the fine.

Accident:
In the event of a road accident, the renter must immediately inform our company and the police. The police will record the accident, and the renter must obtain and present to our company a copy of the police report. If the police do not record the accident, the renter assumes all responsibility, and no insurance coverage applies.

INSURANCES:

Basic insurance package
Our prices include basic insurance coverage, which consists of:

• Third Party Insurance (T.P.I or T.P.L)
• Fire Insurance
• Theft Insurance
• Glass Breakage Insurance

Extra insurance coverage

If the renter wishes with an additional cost can have:

1. C.D.W. Insurance (Collision Damage Waiver) with an excess amount of:
   — 900€ + V.A.T. for small & medium car categories.
   — 1100€ + V.A.T. for SUV category.
   With this insurance, in case of damage, the renter’s liability limits to the excess amount.
2.  F.D.W. Insurance (Full Damage Waiver) with zero excess amount for all vehicle categories.

What is not covered by any insurance:

• Damages caused by a driver under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• Damages caused by an unauthorized driver.
• Damages in the interior of the vehicle.
• Damages that were caused because the vehicle was illegally parked.
• Damages due to traffic law violation.
• Damages due to inappropriate driving, negligence, or intentional.
• Damages to the engine by wrong fuel or negligence.
• Damages were caused because the vehicle was used off-road or on inappropriate roads (e.g., unpaved roads, dirt roads, beaches).
• Damages that were caused after the agreed return time.
• Damage to the mirrors.
• Damages or loss of tires, rims, and hubcaps.
• Damages to the underside of the vehicle.
  Damages or loss of the antenna.
• Damages caused willfully or recklessly by the renter, e.g. (burning out the clutch, burning out the tires, sitting or standing on the bonnet, or the roof or the boot lid of the vehicle, etc.)
• If the renter at the time of the accident does not notify our company and the police.
  Loss of personal items.
• Loss, damage, or theft of vehicle keys.
• Loss or damage of child seats, jack, safety triangle, spare wheel, petrol cap, or any accessories which are provided by the rental company.

Additional Cleaning Fee: It is applied if, upon its return, the vehicle needs cleaning beyond the usual. The biological cleaning fee is 100€. In cases where we need to clean only one seat or a children’s seat and not all the seats, all the interior, the charge is 50€.

Pets – Animals: They are allowed in cars, provided they are in the special basket.

Car Transport by ship and driving outside the borders:
It is forbidden to load the rental vehicle on a ship or to transport it outside the Greek borders, without the written approval / consent of our company.

Vehicle replacement: If the vehicle becomes unusable, our company will provide a replacement within a reasonable period of time. This period depends on availability and the area where the vehicle breakdown. If the vehicle becomes unusable due to the renter’s fault or negligence, an extra cost will be charged to cover the replacement cost.

Important Info: Before you leave, you must check the vehicle and make sure you report any damage to the staff (to serve you better, it’s a good idea to take pictures or video of the vehicle). Our company is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal items. Our company has the right to cancel the rental agreement without any consequences if the renter is considered harmful to the company’s interests or violates either the traffic laws or the rental terms.
